Privacy policy

This page explains two things in plain English: how our lawyer finder works, and where you stand when you use it. The short version — we point you to independent criminal and traffic lawyers, but the choice of who to hire is yours, and your dealings are directly with them. We're the introduction, not a party to your case.

How the lawyer finder works

We introduce — you decide

The finder gives you options to consider. Which lawyer you choose, and how you deal with them, is entirely up to you — we're not in the middle of that relationship.

1 · You search the lawyer directory 2 · You choose the pick is yours 3 · You deal direct we're not in the middle

Using the lawyer finder

When you use our lawyer finder to search for and contact a lawyer, you're agreeing to the terms on this page. In plain terms, here's what that means:

We list independent lawyers

The lawyers and firms we show you aren't the only ones who can help with your matter — they're options for you to weigh up.

We don't vouch for their work

We don't take responsibility for the work any listed lawyer or firm does for you. That relationship is between you and them.

The choice is yours

It's up to you to make sure the lawyer or firm you choose is the right one for you before you go ahead.

We don't settle disputes

If something goes wrong between you and your lawyer, we don't act as a mediator or arbitrator in that dispute.

Your information

What we do with the details you share

We only use the details you choose to give us — for example, to pass an enquiry to a lawyer you've selected, or to reply to you. The lawyers and any third-party websites we link to have their own privacy practices, which apply once you're dealing with them. If you have a question about your personal information, please get in touch.

Good to know

This is general information, not legal advice

Criminal Legal turns criminal and traffic charges into plain language so you know what you're dealing with — it isn't a substitute for advice on your own case. Criminal Legal is owned and operated by Aussiedivorce.com.au Pty Limited.

Ask a Question Form

While we don’t provide legal advice—as every case is unique and only a qualified lawyer is permitted to do so—we’ll do our best to guide you with relevant general information. If we’re unable to assist, we can refer your query to a criminal lawyer.
